My name is Kayla Tisdale. I live in Santa Fe, Texas with my father, mother and little sister. I have been a district track champion and played volleyball. However, I have recently foregone those sports to focus 100% on my favorite game, SOFTBALL! 

Since my freshman year of high school I have played varsity softball and 18u Gold. 

I love competition and always strive to win. I am a tall slap hitting middle infielder. 

I consider myself a “SPEED” player who pushes the bases every chance I can. Since 

I have grown up a coach’s kid and daughter of a “United States Marine”, I know the meaning of “REALLY” hard work. Both of my parents have helped me become the player I am today. 

During my softball years, I have been fortunate enough to help my team win a World Series Championship and (2) State Championships.  At Santa Fe High I helped my team win District twice and make it to the playoff finals in 2014 and 2015.

I currently have a 3.8 GPA while taking AP classes. Academically, I am ranked 16 out of 401 which puts me in the top 5% of my class. My father is a Police Detective and my mother is a school teacher. After seeing my parents help people in the community, I also want to follow in their footsteps. That is why I want to study health in college and pursue a nursing degree following my softball years. This will allow me to make a difference one day!
