Halie Thompson |
Just a little bit about me... My name is Halie Thompson, or also known as Piglet. Piglet has always been my nickname since the day I was born. It all started when, my grandma put the piglet from, Winnie in the pooh in my bed at the hospital.
I've lived in a small town for 16 years now and I'd love to continue that for the next four years. I recently lost my dad, and now its just me and my mom. Its a lot different, but we're strong, so we can make it through. Because of my dad, I've always been a country girl at heart. For years, we have always gone hunting and fishing together every weekend when we aren't playing softball. On a more emotional level, deep down at heart, I'm a caring sympathetic, kindhearted person. If there's somebody in need or is hurting, physically or mentally, I'm always there for them. My drive and compassion for the game of softball, is beyond competitive and strong. I am basically my own worst enemy as I'm always driving and grinding to be better than my last play and everybody else. My work ethic is very intense and I'll give it my all on and off the field. In the end, I'm playing this game because I have a strong love for it, and am always doing something softball related, if not, I'll make it softball related. When I'm in an Academy store or any kind of sports store, I'll always find a ball to bounce, shoot, or throw. Most of all, I'm doing this for me and for my dad. |
