When my daughter was in 8th grade, she met Cheri Naudin Csa at a team meeting. On the way home, she asked me if with her OWN money she could hire Miss Cheri to help her with recruiting. She did. Cheri has helped since that day. She provided insight when Banner moved up to 16U. She personally guided Banner through several big phone calls with coaches. Cheri was a "constant" through the ups and downs that come with the incredibly competitive sport of softball. Cheri helped Banner with videos, firmly reminded her about studying for her ACT, suggested camps, and always shared constructive comments when she watched her play. She preached athleticism, academics, attitude, and did it all without "sugar coating" the whole recruiting process. When Banner was in Colorado last summer with her AF Team, Cheri was there in the stands when the Alderson Broaddus coach came to watch Hannah Shockey. AB discovered Shockey from Cheri's website. Coach Denillo watched the game and also was immediately interested in Banner. Banner and I, with the blessing of her Dad, flew to DC and drove to West Virginia last August. Banner verbally committed to AB this year. She is thrilled. I am too because of the plans the LORD has for her. Banner loves softball and America. Her dream to be closer to DC, while getting her education, and playing the sport she loves came true. Watching Banner and praying for her during this journey has been a blessing. She has made so many friends, taken road trips with her Dad, and continues to work hard. (We love high school ball and the Eagles!!!) Cheri has blessed us, prayed for us, counseled us, and she is my forever friend. She was passing through last week and came to watch Banner play in Fairfield. With the help of Cheri, Banner is headed to a great D2 school that is a perfect fit for her. I'm glad Banner "hired" Miss Cheri. Cheri allowed me to just be MOM....she handled the rest.
